The time lapse is awesome! I love doing them and watching them. When I lived in the Caribbean I routinely drove to the beach for sunsets just to capture time lapses.

This hike looks dreamy. PS: If you get taken out by a falling nut at least you went doing something you love! 😁

Haha! True! The time lapse with the GoPro is much nicer than with my phone. I'm looking forward to doing night lapses and making star trail photos, but I couldn't try it here because the campsite had tree cover.

It was fantastic! The flame azaleas bloom there in June. Can't wait to go back!

I would love to go back to the Smoky's as well. Awesome place! I taught workshops there for a few years. But I now have a limit on the size of the backpack and the weight I now carry only allows for camera gear, there is no room for anything else. LOL

Honestly, I've traveled all around the Smoky's but very little inside the park. Now that I've figured out the rules and permits I'm hoping to explore it a lot more.

The last picture is awesome, and I like how you capture the skies. Did you use a polarizer?

Thanks! Yes, I always have a polarizer on from sunrise to sunset. There are many times that I cannot tell if it is helping, but its never going to hurt the image.
