What an incredible experience. Your writing brings the whole event to life. More power to you; there's no way on God's green earth I would jump 25 feet into a narrow area. Beautiful pictures!
The pics of that gorge are beautiful, so soothing. I loved this whole adventure...yes, even the stomach rebellion 🤣 If you've never suffered at least one rebellion, have you even traveled? Hahaha!
Erik, thanks for reminding me that there is something special about exploring canyons. I am not sure what it is, but they always provide for memorable experiences.
Thanks for this - what a treat. Your photographs are always great, but your descriptions make this adventure come alive.
Thanks John! I hadn't updated this series in a bit and it seemed like a good break from the January cold!
It looks like a fantastic trip. A couple of mission trips I took in high school changed how I saw the world.
It was certainly an eye opening experience!
The gorge/ravine was amazing! That water color! Wow! Thanks for sharing!
Sure thing! It was such a powerful experience that it was a challenge to describe with words!

Thanks Linda! I think all but one of us did the jump, but some of the kids needed convincing.

I can't really say I've explored canyons before or since, but this experience was incredible!
